The power supply delivers 12vdc at 1.1 amps. That's just over 12 watts. Not 30 watts. When I attached a 2 amp supply, the lights still only used 1.1 amps. While the lights work well, the dimmer is a bit noisy. There is a definite buzz except at dimmest and brightest settings. The red and black wires are exposed as in the photos. I trimmed and re-attached them. The clips for mounting the lights do not grip. The light would not fall, but would be loose.
